The 5 Factor Diet plan, otherwise known as the Hollywood Diet or the Diet of the Stars, is a diet program developed by the celebrity trainer, Harley Pasternak. This diet plan is regarded as an effective alternative for anyone looking for a simple diet program that could easily fit into minimal allotments of time. The factors that make it a popular choice among weight watchers are five week plan that provides you results within five weeks, five factor meals a day, 25-minute workout, and five cheat days in five week. You can take advantage of this diet plan by logging on to its website and becoming a member. The 5 Factor Diet is also available in the form of book consisting of more than 250 pages.

A key highlight of this diet plan is that you’ll never feel hungry, as it recommends you to eat often and that too in every three to four hours. Another great thing regarding this diet program is that it provides a variety of recipes that can be cooked within few minutes and that too using minimum number of ingredients (like this smoothie recipe creator). Further, it provides five cheat days in five weeks, i.e., you can enjoy your favorite items like ice cream or french fries one day in a week. Above all, it advises you to work out regularly, along with the intake of healthy and well-balanced meals. In short, the 5 Factor diet program is a perfect diet plan for anyone who want to stay in figure while controlling the craving for food.

 Meal Plan

When you look at thier meal plan, you can eat anything except for white flour as well as simple carbohydrates. In other words, it encourages you to eat food that are low in fat but high in fiber. This means you can eat foods like baked chicken, lean turkey sandwiches, multi-grain breads, lentils, sugar free beverages, and fruits and vegetables with high glycemic index values. A specialty of this diet plan is that it recommends you to fragment your daily meal into smaller meals, i.e. at least five times a day. This, in turn, helps to speed up your metabolism, in addition to improving the natural fat burning capacity of your body.

Among hundreds of recipes contained in the 5 Factor Diet plan, majority of them are five-ingredient recipes, and some of them are:

  • Egg and Turkey Bacon Sandwich
  • Chicken and Black Bean Quesadillas
  • Sea Scallops with Orange Sauce
  • Curried Chicken with Brown Rice
  • Salmon with Cucumber Dill Salad
