LA Weight Loss is a weight loss program associated with the reduced calorie ingestion along with nutrition supplements, personal counseling and behavior modification and also giving counseling.

So they sell supplements right?
Yes, they sell exclusive brand of nutritional supplements, juices, snacks, bars etc from the company. This program comprises the activities such as diet tips, menu plans, recipes, newsletters, support meetings, counseling etc. We have to penalize them a lot of review points here because it’s clearly for profit and not in the best interest of their users.
The process
Before undergoing this program clients must fill out a detailed questionnaire about the eating habits and how much the client attached with foods. Then a counselor conducts an interview with the client and prescribes a diet plan.
Nutritional recommendations
- Sodium is restricted to 2,100 mg per day
- sugars and sweets are avoided
- Caffeine is allowed but alcoholic beverages are restricted to three times a week.
Macro-nutrient proportions
They recommend about 50%-55% carbohydrates, 25%-30% protein, and 20%-25% fat. Here the importance is on moderation and portion control.

MyFit Conclusion
MyFit cannot recommend this diet plan because their are too many other alternatives out there to reduce your weight without spending a fortune on bars, juice, and ready to eat meals.
However…
If you are one of those people that needs their hands held and doesn’t like to learn themselves they do have a lot of ‘experts’ available and counselling to get you on the right track. If you do take this route, please focus on trying to find foods that will supplement their supplements. You simply can’t afford to stay on their program indefinitely.
